Moskovskiye Vedomosti (Moscow Recorder)

A newspaper founded in 1756, from the sixties of the nineteenth century it often voiced the views of the monarchist sections of the landlords and the clergy. In 1905 it gave support to the Black Hundreds. The newspaper was banned following the October Revolution of 1917.
